William F. Buckley, RIP

The man who reinvented Conservatism is gone. Buckley died at the age of 82 at home. He founded the National Review magazine back in the 50's. He founded a Conservative magazine at a time in American history when the political scene was changing for the worse. In the 50's Liberalism truly moved the political spectrum. To be a Conservative at that time was truly unpopular. He truly had an up hill battle right from the start. Buckley along with Goldwater, and Reagan were the true inspirational Conservatives of the last 60 years. He will be missed greatly.

Reagan Would Be Proud, For Now

What happened yesterday would make the great Ronald Reagan proud. It is truly a great day!Star Wars looks to be here in real fashion. We as a military power were not only able to hit a moving object in space but hit it directly in the bullseye. It was a great moment for our military and for Conservatives. Remember all of the flack the Gipper received when he discussed Star Wars for the first time. Nobody ever believed that it could ever be reality. It is now, but for how long.

Imagine a Clinton or Obama Presidency where these kind of military unknowns are sold to the highest bidder. Imagine Democrats wanting to share this with the rest of the world, because after all we can't be the world's only superpower. Oh, I forgot we would not have to shoot down a spy satellite because we don't need them. Why spy on anyone, "Can't we all just get along?".

I believe that we really need to enjoy this awesome knowledge while it is still ours. If the Liberals have complete control you can bet that this is the last we will see of it.

It may not be exciting nationally but locally we have some races. So get out and support these fine candidates.

Voting Rights for Felons

Today is primary day here in Wisconsin, good luck to all local, state and National Conservatives.

A bill backed by the ACLU is going to come out this summer that would allow felons in Wisconsin to vote in elections. The ACLU lawyer believes that it denies the black vote because more minorities are incarcerated. Could you imagine convicts voting for politicians and judges receiving lighter sentances because they are voters. This would be horrible for the state of Wisconsin. The liberals don't want to be leaders when it comes to concealed carry, smoking ban, and taxation and followers when it comes to letting felons vote. We will be even more of a disgrace than we already are.

Clinton A Hunter

At the Brat Stop on Saturday Hillary was trying to get the hunting vote. She claims to have shot at tin cans, large targets and some skeet with her father as a kid. Get this she even shot a Duck. She just lost the animal rights vote. This goes up there with babysitting illegal alien's children as they worked up the midwest working the fields up to Chicago.

Vote for Barb Ruud or Harvey Kandler for Supervisor on the Burlington Town Board. Both show conservative credentials including holding line on taxes and spending. Vote for them on Feb 19.
